One of our core principles at 8N is training with purpose. Your purpose may be to lose weight, get in better shape, run a marathon or compete in the CrossFit Games. On Saturday mornings, we will run our member class as a competition. Now don’t freak out! We won’t get crazy with judges and scorecards but we will put your teams head-to-head in heats and go at it!
Now you may be saying, I have no desire to compete in anything or, like my wife, are an amazing athlete just not very competitive. Well if thats the case, then I HIGHLY encourage you to come to one of these. I promise you, you’ll push yourself harder than you ever imagined. Also, on the physique level, intensity is the independent variable that causes physical adaptations. This means that by going fast, you’ll elicit positive physical responses and get more fit.
Here’s what you need to do. Send this link to your a fellow member and begin to create your team. Teams will consist of three males or three females. If you don’t have a team, don’t fret! Just come in and we will pair you up for the day. This is a fun, casual environment, but make no mistake… we will get after it!
